In early January we made our annual trip to Panama for the holidays. This trip carried more weight because next time I will be going there, it will be permanent. We spent half the time in Panama City and half the time in Destiladeros (the area where we will be moving). The kids had a blast spending time on the beach and playing in the pool. It’s a little surreal to think that soon that will be our lifestyle. However, it might be a rude awakening when the place where we are used to vacationing becomes our place of business. We did have time to meet with some builders and a potential teacher. I feel like there is so much to do to prepare, but I’m not even sure where or how to start. While many people are talking about their New Year’s resolutions, I keep thinking about how much change 2018 will bring for us. It’s change that we’ve chosen and change we are excited about, but it will be drastic change. I don’t know if we’ll be completely prepared, but we’re ready to show up.
