I’m March of 2024, AJC celebrated turning 11. While we usually organize a big party, now that the boys are getting older, I’m trying to get them to see the value in taking a birthday trip instead of a party.
This year the perfect opportunity came up. Our good friends who live in Austin and have season tickets to Austin FC we’re going out of town and offered us their house and their 4 box seats. So amazingly generous! Not only that- but it lined up with the weekend the Warriors we’re playing in San Antonio. Their first MLS game and a chance to see Steph play live- AJC’s dream vacation. This past year, he has gotten super into sports, especially soccer and basketball. It’s a passion we are working hard to nurture as it’s a great outlet for him.
Of course we took the opportunity to show the boys the super cool city of Austin, which really meant eating a ton. We had so much fun at both games and exploring Texas.
